United Technologies Center, Maine Vocational Region #4, is the largest region in the state. Thirty-one local communities have a vested interest in the Center and the support of these communities assures that UTC remains a premier technical high school. The sending schools we serve are Bangor High School, Brewer High School, Central High School (Corinth), Hampden Academy, Hermon High School, Old Town High School, and Orono High School. Students may also attend from private high schools within the region. UTC also offers a wide variety of continuing education courses in the evening. High school students may attend either our morning or afternoon 2 1/2 hour sessions. Courses are designed to meet national standards, assist each student in documenting his or her Maine Learning Results, and prepare students for college. 

Students have an opportunity to enroll in any one of seventeen courses in which they may earn three credits per year. 

As a student at UTC you will receive an exciting education that, in conjunction with your sending school, will help prepare you to continue your education or begin your career of life-long learning. The students of today must prepare to be life-long learners or risk being unable to keep pace with our rapidly changing world. The instructors at UTC work to provide students with the critical skills essential for excelling and discovering just how much each one can achieve.
