Articulation/Dual Enrollment Agreements

UTC has collaboratively developed Articulation and Dual Enrollment Agreements with many post-secondary schools. These agreements provide our students with the opportunity to earn transferable college credits while completing their high school education.

Northern Maine Community College will award a $300 scholarship to any stuent receiving a gold, silver, or brtonze medal in his/her respective CTE-SO for a competition directly related to his/her major at the College. This could be a competition won in the junior or senior year.

Articulation Agreement for the above programs of study:

$2,000 credit is based upon the student's academic performance and is applicable toward all qualified high school students. As of the 2009/2010 academic year, the credit is applied to the student's account once enrolled into CDIA.

Terms:

Applicant must receive his/her diploma (or equivalency) prior to the commencent of classes at CDIA.
Applicant must receive a final grade of B+ or higher in his/her approved "CTE class".
Applicant's related "CTE class" must contain portions of their chosen "CDIA Program".
This articulation agreement will be honored no longer than one (1) academic year from the applicant's high school graduation date.
Applicant must qualify for admission based on a personal interview.

SkillsUSA:

$5,000 1st, 2nd or 3rd place winner at Maine SkillsUSA Competition (CTE program area)
$5,000 1st, 2nd or 3rd place winner at National SkillsUSA Competition (CTE program area)

*Note: The above money available is accessed only one time regardless of the number of years the student may place at the State and National competitions.
