The Business Leadership Program here at UTC prepares students for a wide variety of careers with limitless opportunities. Quick – think of an industry or organization of which you would like to be a part of. Whatever it is, a strong foundation in business can take you there. From becoming a small business owner in Maine to working with a noble nonprofit organization or even a Fortune 500 company, an education in business can provide you with the skills necessary to succeed.
What characteristics are built for business? Strong leadership and communication. The ability to solve problems, motivate others and make decisions. Math skills are definitely a plus! (You’ll need them to calculate all those profits.) Did we mention you future options will be endless? The UTC Business Leadership Program introduces you to the ins and outs of the business world. Our program prepares you with the practical skills and critical thinking abilities that will benefit you in your future academic and professional endeavors. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply for the 1-year Small Business Management Certificate from EMCC if you attend both your Junior and Senior year.
