Composites Fabrication and Custom Auto is a unique program preparing the student for careers in both composite fabrication and the customization of autos. Composites are in almost everything from million dollar yachts to wind turbines to custom car parts. Students use the 3 major methods to create composite projects in our very well equipped lab building small boat hulls, snowboards, skateboards and more! Many of the projects students can take home with them including custom airbrushing projects.
Students will also learn many of the entry-level skills needed for a career or to pursue further education in the Custom Auto Body and/or Composite Material Fabrication field. Our area is home to many great auto shops looking for motivated and talented new employees. Career opportunities are also growing with new composite businesses in the Bangor area opening each year!
