1 or 2 Year Program
Graduate from high school with employability skills related to your educational and career goals
Media communication, both video, and audio provide career opportunities in the music, video, influencing, news, and entertainment industry. Learn how to make things happen behind the scenes of your favorite movies or other entertainment shows. Run a recording studio, make your own music, all of this is possible in the UTC facility, with first class industry level equipment and software.
Although extremely challenging, the class will allow you to build a professional portfolio that includes commercials, music videos, short films and much, much more. You’ll work as a member of a production team, utilizing industry standard equipment and software to prepare projects that show mastery of skills like camera techniques, audio recordings, studio development, and script writing. Advanced students have the opportunity to work with clients in the community, building your resume. Remember! You also have the opportunity to work in our audio recording studio to record original songs, sound effects, or anything your imagination can think of.
When you have finished the course, your portfolio will include informational videos, public service announcements, commercials, documentaries, and music videos.
